Methods of collection
They are undoubtedly one of the worst collection agencies in America. When will people know what slime collection agencies are? People do not owe a debt to collection agencies. This means the bill is written off and you don’t owe the collection company. If you give them anything you are wasting your money and putting it in the pocket of the guy who owns the company who is, unfortunately, getting rich.
Others call themselves by many names, but they are busy destroying you in every way. This company is the worst of the worst. They cannot legally submit medical bills to all three credit bureaus. Contact all three credit bureaus and telephone.

How to Handle the Adjustment Bureau
Receiving calls or letters in the mail from an adjustment bureau to collect an outstanding debt can be stressful, especially if you are not in a financial position to pay the debt. However, if possible, it’s best to pay off your bad debt because it negatively affects your credit score and sits on your credit report, making it harder to get more debt, such as a mortgage or Personal loan.
If you can’t repay your loan in full, you should work with the lender on a repayment plan that’s possible. If you don’t agree with the loan, it’s best to dispute the false loan account with the credit bureaus. It’s also important to continue paying your other bills on time so there are no more accounts in collection.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. I have actually paid off my account in full and since it was so close to the deadline to start 2 payments to pay my wages have still been sent to them. I have been trying to get my money back for weeks now and have filed a complaint with the BBB hoping they can help. It’s completely insane the way they treat people.
This organization benefits people who are illiterate about their rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Their lack of professionalism and inability to communicate effectively is a barrier to those seeking more information about payment arrangements or the loan in question. There are other collection agencies in the area that respect integrity and consumer rights. (Procom is an excellent example of professionalism and a model they should study)
PAB will never fall into this category as long as it continues to do business
To pay off my debt
I had a list of a few accounts with PAB this year. I called them and they worked out a payment agreement that I could afford. The lady I spoke to was very nice and understanding of my reference. I know I owe money and can’t pay right now.

The facts don’t matter – just a clueless judge who asks Segatto – “She owes him, right?”
He’s the devil himself … with Randy Segato wearing a red cape. Apparently, his words are as good as gold to the judges of the Sangamon Company. The facts don’t matter, only the unjust victories of the greedy courts fill the pockets of these shameful bastards.
These employees sell their lives and resign themselves to going to hell on their rental dates. Complete trash and I just feel sorry for them. For those who skip bills/debts, you deserve them. But they treat everyone like pieces of dirt and Segatto is the worst. We’re paying a deadbeat dad’s bill that should never have been ours. Everyone is working to a tee.
The worst type of business ever!
Making money from the poor, which if they could pay, but now is more thanks for putting their hand in the cookie jar, that one can consciously work for such a place and still look at oneself in the mirror. Yes, it needs to be closed. Up this place down. I only gave one star because I had to. Also, rude, and lie to you about things they can and can’t do.

Understanding the Adjustment Bureau
Although most adjustment bureaus are privately owned, they operate under collection laws established by the federal government. These laws are designed to prevent abuse. The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) is the primary federal law governing debt collection practices in the United States. Under this, a consumer can sue an adjustment bureau that has violated the Act.
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), or the state attorney general of the state in which the bureau operates, also has the authority to impose fines against a collection agency that does not comply with the FDCPA. These penalties may include damages or fines, limiting the operations of the Adjustment Bureau, or closing them down. They also publish a list of banned debt collectors.
Under the FDCPA, creditors are entitled to the following protections:
- The right to request written confirmation of the loan;
- The right to demand that the adjustment bureau or collection agency cease communications.
- the right to recover attorney’s fees from the debt collector if the debtor sues to validate the debt and the debt is found to be fraudulent;
- Freedom from debt collection calls that cost the lender toll calls.
- Limits on the hours of the day that debt collectors can call creditors.
- freedom from using fraudulent or illegal collection methods, such as threatening or impersonating law enforcement agencies;
- freedom from the use of obscene language by debt collectors;
- The right to information about the nature of the call, the name of the person calling, the name of the adjustment bureau from which they are calling; And
- Freedom from debt collection calls to their workplace.
- Many states also have laws that adjust the collection methods the bureau may use. The FDCPA mandates that in the event that a state law is more restrictive than federal law in governing debt collection practices, the more restrictive state law shall apply.
